The Wadsworth Pickleball Club had a humble beginning in 2020 when the passion to play pickleball grew from a dozen or so original members who created the WPC Facebook Group.

Nancy Bedillion, a retired Wadsworth High School Teacher was to be the founding member. She and her large family had been chalking the tennis courts for 2 years beginning in 2018. The infectious laughter and the strange sound of a Pickleball stirred an interest from curious onlookers. Neighbors began to take an interest in the game at Durling Park and within a few years WPC had grown to over 1000 members.
